TLDR: This is an excellent little electric Milk Frother with several easy to use settings and is a superb choice for plant-based milk options such as oat milk. Very simple to clean and store. The company offers a 1-year money-back guarantee as well as a warranty after the fact, so it’s worth the initial investment in my opinion if you are willing to put in the effort to reach out to the company.
My initial thoughts on the HadinEEon Electric Milk Frother
I purchased this product to warm my non-dairy plant-based milk in the AM before adding them to my coffee, earl grey, or chai tea. I was honestly not expecting much from this item, but I was willing to give it a go because I had never used an electric milk frother of this variety. In the past, I’ve used the battery-powered wand milk frothers without much success as far as non-dairy plant-based milk is concerned.
After using this product daily for almost 2 months, I can safely say that the HadinEEon electric milk frother surpassed my expectations and I am 100% sold!
Which type of plant-based milk is best to use in the HadinEEon Electric Milk Frother?
For a bit of context, I use cold non-dairy oat milk – the brand that I prefer to use is “Chobani Extra Creamy” if I can find it. If I can’t find the extra creamy version, I use the Plain variety. I use the frothing whisk and I typically fill it to the max fill line – sometimes I might lazily fill it just past the max fill line, but not by much. I will mention that I did read the directions and they explicitly stated several times not to fill above the max fill lines, so keep this in mind. It might matter more for actual whole cows milk, so maybe that’s why I’ve never experienced an overflow that some (read: a lot) of the reviews on Amazon mention about this product.
The foam that this brand of non-dairy oat milk produces consistently comes out nice and thick on the hot setting using the whisk attachment. I get excellent results every time that I use this electric milk frother following these steps, but I cannot attest to other types of milk.
For reference, I have used one other brand of oat milk, from a big brand, using the same method. Upon frothing the milk for the standard amount of time, I found that the machine had not been able to create the thick, beautiful creamy foam that the Chobani Extra Creamy Oat Milk can produce. I’ve also created nice foam with the Chobani Plain version, but the other big brand only created warm, loose/watery steamed milk.
How does it work?
There are two functions per whisk attachment: hot and cold. For example, when you insert the whisk attachment and press hot, you will essentially be making hot foamy/frothy milk. When you insert the mixing attachment and press hot, you will be making warm, steamy milk – this is the “hot chocolate” setting that the manufacturer mentions. Sometimes, I use this setting to mix my matcha powder or chai powder into my non-dairy milk as it warms, because the max capacity is larger, and I don’t necessarily always want a frothy/foamy chai or matcha latte.
Lastly, when you insert the whisk attachment and press cold, you will essentially be making cold foamy/frothy milk, which is quite thick and beautiful, and sticks around even after you pour it over iced coffee and mix it up a bit.
I don’t typically use the mixing attachment and press cold, but if you did I imagine this would essentially mix your already cold mix up with a powder like protein powder or chocolate milk. I’ve never actually done this, so this function is TBD but this makes the most sense to me, logically speaking.
How do you clean the electric milk frother?
This device is quite simple to use, and it’s even easier to clean. Once you finish frothing or warming your milk, all you need to do is rinse the inner chamber with water, and scrub using one drop of soap and the included brush! I honestly don’t use the brush, I simply fill with water, add a drop of soap, swish, rinse, and wipe with a towel to dry. I use this electric milk frother once, sometimes twice per day to make myself either Chai lattes or a Café au lait using non-dairy milk. Be sure to keep the outer components/outer part of the machine dry.
My final thoughts on the HadinEEon Electric Milk Frother
I would buy this product again if I had the choice, but with the robust money-back guarantee and the warranty period, it appears I won’t have to. After using this product for one month consistently, I even purchased a second one to give to a family member as a gift – that’s how much I love this product. If anything changes with my experience, I will be sure to update this review. 60 days in, I am still satisfied with this product.
Here’s a video that I made after getting the hang of using the HadinEEon electric milk frother. I’ve placed some links down below of all of the products that I used in the video, as well as a link to the pink ceramic coffee mug that you see in the photos.
A lot of people have asked me where I got it: I bought it at an Ikea locally a while back, but I found some other cute pink mugs on Amazon for you all to check out; the one with the kitty is my favorite!
